Come experience beautiful Terrapin Creek Lodge, one of the South‘s most unique lodging and event venues. Our Main Lodge and cabins can be the perfect place for your vacations, get-aways, family reunions and golf or fishing outtings.  TCL has also become a favorite setting for weddings, parties, special events, meetings and business or church retreats. Terrapin Creek Lodge offers a truly distinctive experience with its 5-acre creekside setting adjoining over 2,000 uninhabited acres of the Appalachian foothills. Our Main Lodge is a fully furnished, waterfront vacation home with a wood burning fireplace in the living room, large dining or meeting room with seating for 24, master bedroom suite with king size bed, two large outdoor stone fireplaces with decks overlooking the creek, complimentary satellite HD TV with DVR and wireless internet. Our five cabins can be rented with the Main Lodge or separately. The Lodge is less than a two-hour drive from Atlanta, Birmingham, Chattanooga, Huntsville and Rome.

Terrapin Creek, over 50 feet wide in front of the Lodge, is part of the Alabama Scenic River Trail and is a Class I-II recreational stream that provides a fun, family friendly canoeing and kayaking experience. Canoes and kayaks can easily be rented from Terrapin Outdoor Center. For anglers, Terrapin Creek fishing is known for its spotted, largemouth and redeye bass and Weiss Lake – ‘Crappie Capital of the World’ - with its world class sport fishing is just up the road. For golf, hiking, rock climbing and cycling enthusiasts, the Lodge is a short drive from the public Robert Trent Jones’ Silver Lakes Golf Course, the Pinhoti National Recreation Trail, the Little River Canyon, Sandrock (Cherokee Rock Village) and the new rails-to-trails Chief Ladiga Bike Trail. For Chief Ladiga/Silver Comet Bike Trail users, shuttle service is available to the Lodge.
